
Before we came to Chiapas our friend Alfredo suggested we try the “filtrado” coffee here. La Selva Café has been highly recommended by locals so we tried it out. They grow organic coffee in the jungle nearby and prepare it in a variety of (rather strong) ways. Ryan had a cup of filtrado coffee and felt it for the rest of the day. He was pretty excited about the fact that it was the strongest cup of coffee he’s ever had but with all that caffeine surging through his system, he didn’t know what to do with himself the rest of the day.
