Ryan's parents came for a visit this month. Part of showing them around was spending a day at our friend's home for boys. Both Lance and Lana are teachers so they easily fell into the "homework helping" role.
Ryan, however, spent the morning hanging out and writing love notes with these two brothers, Miguel and Victor.
Lance and Lana also enjoyed reading the boy's books while Manuel happily played with his airplane.
This is Manuel's little brother, Raul.
We also went to the Natural History Museum in San Diego where the Dead Sea Scrolls are on display. It was incredible to view parts of these ancient scripts and hear, even from a secular view, the accuracy with which the Old Testament was written.
