Since we are staying in Tijuana this Christmas, we decided to get a tree. This is the first Christmas tree we've purchased, because we are normally visiting family in the northwest. So we took our little Jetta over the border into the Home Depot parking lot in search of just the right tree to fit our little home. Ryan was delighted to find trees that aren't all 6' tall AND that for Southern California, are reasonably priced. So, although we couldn't just go to a neighbors or a nearby tree farm (as is possible in Oregon/Washington), we did find a little beauty to keep our house festive for the holiday.
