Ecola's Mexico Team....March 1-7

Ecola staff in their finest form.
47 Ecolites & 6 Bajaites makes a very full porch. Thank goodness it held. Good work Erik!
Queso fundido (cheese fondue) is Dave's favorite.
Michael brought his buddy Art down to help us wire the dorms.

Lots of weeding.
And they found that the weeds are edible...one of them is fennel.
Friday afternoon they finished work early so we headed to the Tijuana playas.  Some of our favorite people: Michael Slivkoff, Dave Duff, Lisa Silver and Heidi Ogg.
Painting the eaves of the dormitory....
.....and cleaning up.
This is where 20-something girls sleep when they stay at the Castillo.
What would the week be without Chuy's cooking....this time he prepared birria.
....and brought it up to the Castillo.

Ben Davis shared with the group one morning. Here is his lovely wife, Cynthia and son, Rhys.  The girls couldn't get enough of the baby.
9 cubit meters of sand and gravel for future concrete work.
This is how you encourage the team to bring all that sand and gravel in buckets up all the stairs!

Building lofts in each dorm room.
Upper floor of the dorms; view from the lofts.
The root of sin.....
.....finally removed!
The result of two days of hard labor and cleaning.
Thank you Ecola!
