What in the world is a "ventanero"? A student attending the discipleship program through Ventana Ministries. Last week they began the Baja California portion (which will occur in a little town near Ensenada) of their 7-month program with us at the Castillo. The purpose was to introduce these 10 students to the Mexican culture through a class offered by Dave Burdette, combined with time of observation and interaction in the metropolis city of Tijuana. 
The beauty of these 3 days is that they are a lot like what our future students will experience at Baja Bible-- new to the city, excited to explore, learning how to live in a new culture, the first taste of real burritos & tacos, loud card games in the lounge, sleeping in the new dorms, being challenged and encouraged in the Word. It's what we love and look forward to here in the upcoming months!
