The great thing about serving in Mexico is the emphasis on
people. The following photos depict some physical labor that was done during the week (house building, digging, planting a garden) but the real change that happens is those who come to serve is when interacting with the people around them. Each night, during debriefing sessions, the majority of the comments revolve around what students learned from taking time to play with the kids or to have a conversation in broken Spanish. Being in another culture challenges one to examine himself, what he values, how he loves, and what the gospel means to those around him.

Thanks to Meagan Lloyd for capturing such great photos!
