Agua Azul

On our way home from Palenque, we spent some time at these waterfalls called Agua Azul. They looked more like Agua Café because the rains had turned up mud in the water. The incredible amount of water flowing so rapidly was a powerful reminder of God's power. There were also several crosses for those who had tried to swim too close to the waterfall and didn't quite make it; a good reminder to be careful where we swam. We made friends with some of the local kids who sell tiny little platanos (bananas). They taught us a few games in between trying to get us to buy their products. Ryan ate around nine bananas and has vowed not to eat another one for a month.
