After our time in the Northwest with family (and lots of snow and ice) we're back home in Tijuana. The old So. Cal-equipped Jetta doesn't normally see such cold weather but thankfully she brought us back home to our typically sunny, clear skies.
The day after our arrival we participated in a house build with several former Caravan staff who had gathered for a reunion. Ryan is the one who was on staff with Caravan Ministries from 2001-03 and Steph got to tag along since she's the wife. Since 2005 we've had the privilege to get to know a lot of their staff as they've helped us out with projects at the Baja Bible School
campus (our ministries are located about 25 minutes from each other).

We built for a single mom. This is her daughter, Jennifer, helping with the finishing touches.
The 12x12 structure behind the truck is their "starter home". It gives families shelter and a place to add on to as they are able.
Below is a little demonstration of a talent that some Caravan staff members possess. Ryan is teaching Matt the tricks of the trade:
