Together in 3s

This summer BBS has two sets of 3 representing the school. There are 3 summer interns serving on campus & 3 alumni/staff serving five different summer camps as counselors. The main purpose for both teams is to spread the word about BBS.

The intern team (above) is composed of adventurous, fun-loving, serious-about-Jesus kind of people. They're spending one day a week at a children's home and another day with Spectrum Ministries that serves kids in some of the poorer areas of Tijuana. They get to participate in book, culture, and language studies as well as serve on campus with physical work projects and student recruiting. They're also a big help with the work groups and visitors that come throughout the summer. They are learning a lot and being stretched in new ways. Pray for the God's molding of them throughout the summer, for unity as we live on campus together, and for fruit from their labors.

The summer ministry team (above) is made up of guys familiar with Baja Bible, solid in their walk with the Lord, a little crazy, and full of love for people. They are traveling to five different camps from So. California to So. Oregon over the next 7 weeks. They'll serve as counselors and do whatever is needed; at the same time they'll get to share about BBS. Please pray for physical and spiritual strength as they serve. It's exhausting work! Also pray that they make time to saturate themselves in the Word as they give of themselves to all types of kids. May they point many young people to Jesus!

July 12-16 Interns will be serving alongside Caravan ministries with a week-long house building event

July 26-30 Baja Experience week; open to everyone (application here), opportunity to learn about missions, serve in the community, and enjoy Mexican culture

Aug 13-14 Experience Weekend with Sandals church (Riverside, CA)

Aug 15-21 Work group from Selah Covenant Church (Selah, WA)
